The Story Behind Kaligo

Kaligo was founded in 2013 by Benoît Jeannin and a passionate team of researchers and educators, all united by a common goal: to revolutionise education through digital learning solutions.

At Kaligo, we envision a future where technology, alongside traditional teaching methods, plays a central role in education, enabling personalised learning to meet the unique needs of each student.

2025

New year, new programme! Generative AI makes its debut, and more innovations are on the way in our satchel.

2022

Kaligo is growing! We’re developing a version specifically for healthcare professionals. That same year, our first German version was launched.

2019

Goodbye borders, hello United Kingdom! We launched our English version, with over 12,000 student handwriting samples collected!

2023

We’re boosting learning with our brand new spelling exercises.

2021

Teachers deserve their own space too! We’ve enhanced Kaligo with a web platform specially designed for them.

2017

Our beginnings! We embarked on the journey with 16 schools in France, involving 40 classes and over 1,000 students for our first impact studies.

Kaligo, Conquering The World!

Since 2018, Kaligo has been expanding internationally. While countries share a common alphabet, the approach to teaching writing varies between France, England, and Germany. That’s why Kaligo has adapted: in addition to training its artificial intelligence engines with thousands of writing samples from students across each country, Kaligo has also tailored its teaching methods to align with national curricula.

Today, Kaligo is available in English in the UK and the UAE, in German in the DACH region (Germany, Switzerland), as well as Luxembourg, and in French in France and Belgium.
